DTE Your Energy Savings Program
The following programs are offered to all DTE customers through the DTE Your Energy Savings (YES) Program. If DTE is your primary electricity AND gas supplier, you qualify for additional rebates as well.
Appliance Recycling Program
As part of DTE’s Your Energy Savings program, they are now offering a $40 rebate in exchange for old appliances, like refrigerators. Not to mention, they will come and haul them away for free! At the same time, they will also pick up your old room air conditioner and dehumidifier for an additional $20 rebate.

NOTE: To participate, you must be a Detroit Edison customer. Room air conditioner and dehumidifier pick-ups must be scheduled with your qualified refrigerator or freezer appointments. See other program requirements.

ENERGY STAR Product Incentives
DTE is now offering rebates on select ENERGY STAR products. Watch for the Your Energy Savings label on these ENERGY STAR qualified products discounted at select local retail stores near you.
- Programmable Thermostats: $20 mail-in rebate
- Clothes Washers: $25 to $50 mail-in rebate
- Dehumidifiers: $25 mail-in rebate
- Room air conditioners: $25 mail-in rebate
