Our History
Go Green Energy Consulting was founded in 2009 by Adam Duke and Jacob Smith. The idea was inspired by a tragic incident in 2006 when Adam’s family’s home burned down. At the time, he’d been independently studying alternative energy technology systems for some time, and he decided to put his education to good use. By implementing efficient technologies in the new house designs, he figured that he could save his family a substantial amount of money on their monthly energy bills. Needless to say, the project was extremely successful.
Adam knew his family wasn’t just a special case. With the proper knowledge and resources, all of his friends, family, and neighbors could reduce their energy costs as well. He put his head together with longtime friend Jacob Smith, and GGEC was born.
